The Legend Life After 40 Photo Challenge is being run by Legend Life Global LLC.

Employees of Legend Life Global LLC shall not be permitted to enter the Challenge.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Challenge.

To be eligible to participate entrants must complete registration on the website www.legendlifephotochallenge.com/registration and enter the private Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/legendlifeafter40.

Entry is accepted once entrants have posted their image for one of the Challenge’s daily themes on Instagram using the hashtag #legendlifeafter40 and one of the category hashtags corresponding to a day’s theme as follows:

2. #legendlifeadventure
3. #legendlifeoutdoors
4. #legendlifefitness
5. #legendlifewellness
6. #legendlifewomen
7. #legendlifefamily
8. #legendlifecouples
9. #legendlifefriends
10. #legendlifetreetribe

and both following and tagging @legendlifeafter40 on Instagram.

To be eligible the entrant must be 40 years old or older at the time the Challenge commences and beyond being posted with the Challenge hashtags the image uploaded must also be given a caption:

1. Telling the story about the image, where it is taken (i.e. country and state/province), when, who you are there with, why you selected this image and the image category.
2. Telling us why you love that day’s theme or what that day’s theme means to you.

There is no limit to the number of entries a person may enter provided they comply with the Challenge’s eligibility criteria and are submitted prior to the Challenge closing date.

To be eligible a person is not required to upload images for each of the 30 daily themes.  They are only required to upload an image for one of the daily themes.

Starting date for entry will be 00:01 EST 9th November with entries prior to this date not being eligible to win.

Closing date for entry will be 23:59 EST on 9th December 2020. After this date no further entries to the Challenge will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The terms and conditions of the Challenge are as follows:

1. Each submission must be a photograph owned by the entrant and by entering the Challenge they confirm that they are submitting their own photos and that they own the rights to that photograph – entrants will be required to prove that their photograph is theirs prior to receiving their prize;
2. All entries must be received during the Challenge period;
3. Buying likes is strictly not allowed. Legend Life Global LLC reserves the right to disqualify and remove any shortlisted image where it is identified that likes have been bought.

Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the Challenge will result in the entry being void.

Prizes

Entry into the Challenge and complying with the Challenge’s terms and conditions gives the entrant eligibility to compete for the following prizes:

1 x Grand Prize

• $1000 gift voucher or cash equivalent

1 x Runner Up Prize:

• $500 gift voucher or cash equivalent

10 x Category Winner Prizes:

• $100 gift voucher or cash equivalent

Legend Life Global LLC is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Challenge.

The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and Legend Life Global LLC reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

To the maximum extent permissible by law, all winners are responsible for paying any taxes and any and all other costs and expenses associated with claiming the awards, including but not limited to customs fees, taxes, and any other administrative costs, if applicable. If the prize value equals or exceeds $600, prior to the award of any prize the winner will need to complete, sign and return an IRS W-9 form and/or any applicable tax forms for awarding the prize in the winner’s jurisdiction.

All prizes will be net of any taxes, if applicable.

The winners will be responsible for investigating whether the prize is considered as taxable income in their own country.

Selection of Winners

Category prize winners will be selected by Legend Life Global LLC from the 10th December to 23.59 EST the 15th December 2020 from a short list of images from each of the ten categories, which have the most likes during the Challenge period and up to the closing date for entries on the 23:59 EST on 9th December 2020. Final selection of the category winners will be made by Legend Life Global, in its sole and absolute discretion, based on its Judging Criteria as to the inspirational nature of the images and the caption provided.   Category prize winners to be announced on the 16^th December 2020.

The ten category winners as selected by Legend Life Global LLC will then be posted to the @legendlifeafter40 Instagram page by 09.00 EST the 17^th December to be voted on.  The winner and runner up will be selected by Legend Life Global LLC, at its sole and absolute discretion, from the images with the most likes in 48 hours from the time of posting and based on the judging criteria, as determined by Legend Life Global LLC. 

The grand prize winner and runner up winner will be notified by Instagram direct message by 23:59 EST on 21st December 2020. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 3 days of notification, Legend Life Global LLC reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

Legend Life Global LLC will notify the winner when and how the prize can be collected.

Except where prohibited, a potential winner may be required to provide proof of age and liability/publicity release within 10 calendar days.  If a potential winner fails to return these documents on time, an alternate potential winner may be selected in his/her place.

Legend Life Global LLC’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Challenge and selection of winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

General Conditions

The entrant retains all rights to any photograph he/she submits—including ownership if applicable.

By entering this Challenge and submitting a photograph, the entrant grants Legend Life Global LLC and its related entities such as affiliates and subsidiaries a royalty-free, non-exclusive right in perpetuity to:

• Display the photographs on Legend Life Global websites and social media channels.
• Allow third-parties to share the photograph on social media.
• Use the photograph on the Internet and in Social Media in support of our mission.
• Use the photograph in Legend Life Global LLC’s and related entities’ internal and external communications materials including but not limited to web sites and web publications, fact sheets, fund raising publications, advertising, multimedia, and presentations.
• Provide your photograph to other individuals and organizations for Legend Life Global and related entities’-related use in news stories, social media, newsletters, reports, slide shows, displays, web pages, videos, membership premiums, and the like.
• Use, in connection with the Photo Challenge, your name, city, state and country of residence in promotions and other publications.
• Retain a digital copy of your photograph that will be archived in the Legend Life Global photo library.
• To the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material and on the Legend Life Global websites and social media channels.

Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Legend Life Global LLC reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or amend the Challenge, or any part of it,  and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, if any fraud, technical failures or any factor or event beyond Legend Life Global LLC’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Challenge. Any changes to the Challenge will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Legend Life Global LLC.

By entering this Challenge, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these Challenge terms and conditions, and the decisions of Legend Life Global LLC which are final and binding in all respects.

A list of the winners will be available within a reasonable time after the close of the Challenge, on Legend Life Global LLC’s social media, for a reasonable amount of time.

The Challenge and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America.

This Challenge is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Legend Life Global LLC and not to any other party.
